Two years ago, The Gidi Vibes hosted its first event in Hull with a simple conviction: African creativity deserved a permanent home in this city.
On Friday 3 July 2026, we celebrate that journey and introduce the next chapter.
ARONI: First Signal marks the official launch of ARONI, an Afro-electronic music experience exploring Afrohouse, Afro-tech, Amapiano and future-facing sounds from Africa and its diaspora.
Inspired by the sonic journeys of Paths and Frequencies on Venn Radio Hull, ARONI brings together rhythm, movement and atmosphere in a dancefloor experience built for connection.
Expect deep grooves, immersive energy and a culturally diverse crowd united by a love of great music.
