Produced by Morpheus Multimedia, a UK-based creative and cultural agency, The Gidi Vibes brings the energy and spirit of Lagos — fondly known as Lasgidi — to audiences across the United Kingdom.

Founded by Fágbèmí Ọ̀ṣìnúgà in May 2024, The Gidi Vibes is more than an event series; it is a cultural platform delivering live experiences, exhibitions and performances that centre African and diaspora creativity. Through Morpheus Multimedia, the platform is strategically developed, funded and executed as part of a wider commitment to cultural storytelling and community-led creative production.

We showcase the work of storytellers, filmmakers, creative entrepreneurs, designers, strategists, marketers and artists across music, comedy, theatre and visual arts, creating space for both established and emerging talents to connect with new audiences.

Our mission is to design immersive and intimate experiences that spotlight Afrobeat, Hip-Hop, Afrohouse and contemporary African expression, while strengthening the broader creative economy around African culture. Through our programmes, we foster community connection, cross-cultural exchange and meaningful collaboration across cities and institutions.
